He closed the season with a 1-4 overall record and a 5.00 ERA. Stolp surrendered 20 earned runs in 36.0 innings as a junior. He also recorded 31 strikeouts. Eric entered the 2005 season as the Tigers' primary setup man, but struggled in that role before moving to long relief and spot starting duty. Stolp tossed three innings of scoreless relief in the Tigers' 14-0 loss to UC Riverside on Apr. 29. Eric allowed one run on two hits and three walks in 2.2 innings of relief as he helped Pacific defeat Nevada 15-5 on Apr. 12. Stolp made back-to-back starts for Pacific (Mar. 20 and Apr. 5), picking up his first victory in the Tigers' 11-5 win over Hawaii-Hilo on Apr. 5 as he allowed five runs (one earned) on four hits in five innings for the win. Stolp combined with two other Tiger relievers to pitch three innings of shutout ball in Pacific's 9-0 win over San Francisco on Feb. 12.<b>2004 (Sophomore ):</b> <p>Stolp grew from a middle reliever into one of Pacific's most dominating pitchers in 2004. Eric finished the season with a 2-8 record and a 7.44 ERA. After moving into the starting rotation due to injuries, Stolp had the best outing of his collegiate career as he allowed just an unearned run on six hits over 8.1 innings in the Tigers' 2-1 win over No. 9 UC Irvine on April 23. Stolp's performance was his longest outing of his collegiate career by 3.2 innings. For his outing against the Anteaters, Stolp was named Big West Co-Pitcher of the Week on April 26th. Stolp continued to provide solid outings for the Tigers down the stretch as he allowed three runs on six hits in 7.1 innings in Pacific's 4-3 win over UC Santa Barbara on May 14. One week earlier, Eric allowed just three runs in six innings in the Tigers' 3-0 loss to No. 8 Long Beach State on May 7.<b>2003 (Freshman ):</b> <p>Eric picked up his first win as a Tiger on May 17 in Pacifc's 11-7 win over Cal State Northridge in 16 innings. Stolp tossed three innings of scoreless relief to secure the win, allowing five hits and one walk in the outing. In 10 appearances out of the bullpen, Stolp posted a 4.30 ERA, allowing eight runs (seven earned) on 17 hits in 14.2 innings. In back-to-back outings against No. 5 Long Beach State (May 3-4) Stolp tossed an inning of scoreless relief, allowing just one hit each day.<b>High School:</b> <p>Eric graduated from Yosemite High School in Oakhurst, Calif. in 2002. As a Badger, Stolp received eight varsity letters for his play in baseball (four) and soccer (four). On the diamond, Stolp led the Badgers to the Central Valley Championship in 2002 as he was named the MVP of the team and earned a spot on the All-Central Sequoia Leauge First Team. He was also named the Athlete of the Year in 2002 at Yosemite HS.<b>Personal:</b> <p>Eric Stolp is the son of Bill and Becky Stolp. Eric has two siblings, Alyse (17) and Brad (15). In his fourth year at Pacific, Eric is majoring in business.
